Product Overview

One pair of ceiling speakers with 6 1/2" aluminum woofers, 1" pivoting titanium dome tweeters and 100 watt power handling.

Aluminum + titanium = awesome sound. For the first time, Proficient combines aluminum and titanium in the same speaker—and the result is musical magic! The Protege C635 mates the powerhouse deep bass of a 6-1/2 inch aluminum cone with the crystalline highs of a 1-inch titanium dome tweeter. Together, they deliver dynamic, detailed sound you never expected from a ceiling speaker. The C635 packs all the installation-friendly features you expect from Proficient. With 92 dB sensitivity and 100-watt power handling, it plays loud and clean from practically any amp. With bass to 40 Hz and highs to 22 kHz, it delivers full-spectrum musical power. And our sleek, unique tweeter bridge and magnetically attached low-profile grille make it one of the best-looking ceiling speakers ever.

The Protege C635 elevates in-ceiling sound to a higher level! It’s our first speaker to combine aluminum and titanium. An 6½-inch aluminum cone woofer provides powerful, punchy deep bass, while a 1-inch titanium dome tweeter delivers some of the clearest, crispest highs you’ve ever heard. All covered with a stealthy low-profile grille.
